Marty Schrager
Chief Instructor Sensei Marty has been a practitioner of martial arts for over 30 years, and has obtained his 6th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. He competes regionally, nationally, and internationally and was selected as a member of the 2016, 2017, and 2018 ISKF US Men's team. He is also an ISKF certified instructor. He lives in Wyoming, Ohio with his wife and two daughters. |
Senpai Yukiko "Yuki" Kikuchi
Assistant Instructor Senpai Yuki has been training in Shotokan Karate for over 20 years. She obtained her black belt under Master Kanazawa from the SKIF in Tokyo, Japan and now holds the rank of Yondan (4th degree black belt). She is a long time student of Master Yutaka Yaguchi in Denver, CO. When she is not training, she is either working or cooking. |
Senpai Matt Madison
Assistant Instructor At the age of 40, Senpai Matt started training with his son. He had no experience in martial arts but quickly advanced in his training. 12 years later Matt continues to train diligently. He holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree) black belt. Matt competes locally and nationally representing Ohio Valley Karate and the Mid-America region. “I knew on day one that this was going to be a life changer.
